Manitoba is the birthplace of the Little Travellers HIV/AIDS Initiative and the hub of Little Traveller activity.  If you would like to get involved with our initiative by selling Little Travellers, or by helping out at our events, please contact us.  Please check back to this page often, as we will be posting updates about local activity related to the Little Travellers and/or HIV/AIDS awareness in general.

3rd Grandmothers to Grandmothers' Potluck Dinner

Wed., Sept 25th, 6 pm @ Assiniboine Christian Centre (3390 Portage Ave.)

Featuring the screening of the film, A Generation of Orphans, which is the second in a trilogy about the Stephen Lewis Foundation’s work to support grandmothers, orphans and women in sub-Saharan Africa.

Tickets, which are $10 plus an item for the potluck dinner, are available by contacting Barb Fletcher at barbf@miic.ca or by calling Enid Butler at 253-0066. All money from the sale of the tickets is sent directly to the Grandmothers campaign of the Stephen Lewis Foundation.

Run For Darfur  Sunday, Oct. 7th, 2007 - Assiniboine Park
